The first Boston West Street Primitive Methodist chapel dates from 1866. It was destroyed by fire. The replacement chapel dates from 1898 and a Sunday school was added in 1905.
West Street chapel closed in 1968 and the society amalgamated with Zion, the former Methodist New Connexion/United Methodist society also located in West Street.
The building is now in commercial use.

The Primitive Methodist Chapel in West-Street, Boston, Lincolnshire, which was destroyed by fire 28th January 1897, and has been rebuilt and renovated at a cost of about [£]2,000, was reopened on Friday. The architects were Messrs. Howdell [Howell ?] of Leeds.

The Primitive Methodist Chapel at Boston, Lincolnshire was almost destroyed by fire despite the efforts of the two fire brigades. The Chapel was built in 1866 and accommodated 720 worshipers. The fire is supposed to have originated with the heating apparatus.
