Alton Primitive Methodist Chapel, Staffordshire

Primitive Methodism start in Alton in 1812 at Grove House, adjacent to the Post Office.

The PM chapel was built in 1826

The chapel was still in use as Alton Methodist church when this page was created n 2014.  Since then it has closed and in 2023 and has been sold.

The 1940 Alphabetical list of Methodist buildings records it as brick built and seating 60 people on forms.  There were no rooms in addition to the worship area.  It was in the Ramsor circuit.
