  • An account of the life of the chapel at Cwmygaist can be found in the Journal of Joseph Wilding (1872-1923) which has been deposited in Powys Archives. An edited version of the diary was published in 2007, and copies are kept by Powys Libraries. Joseph Wilding lived from 1840-1927 and was a local preacher and Sunday School superintendent at Cwmygaist Primitive Methodist Chapel for many years.

Thank you to Alan Hall, who kindly sent me this information, which is in an article from Cronicl Powys 77, August 2009, pp24-25.
