Transcription of Obituary In the Christian Messenger

NORMAN LEIGH MEAKIN, younger son of Rev. Thomas Meakin, of the Caledonian-road (London) circuit, ‘entered into rest’ on Christmas Day. He was an amiable, godly, promising youth, and the sympathy of the church goes out to its pastor and family in the loss of such a son and brother. His remains lie in the beautiful Finchley cemetery, near the monument of the Rev. J. Toulson.

Norman was born abt1881 at Oldham, Lancashire, to parents Thomas Meakin and Hannah Healy. He died on 25 December 1898 in the Islington Registration District, London.
