Bottomley, Samuel (1802-1852)

Samuel was born on 8 February 1802 at Wickersley, near Rotherham, to mother Jane Bottomley. He was baptised on 14 March 1802 at Wickersley.

Kendal describes Samuel as ‘ one of our early worthies, a man of sober speech’.

He died on 12 March 1852 at Belper, Derbyshire.
