Family

William was born abt 1863 at Hull, Yorkshire. His mother was Mary Lee, nee Hemingway. She married William Lee, a waterman, in early 1875.

Before entering the ministry, William trained as a joiner.

He married Eliza Lewis (b abt1865) in the summer of 1893 in the Blean Registration District, Kent. Census returns identify three children.
