My great-uncle was the Rev. Edward Frederick Kemp, born 1884, in Stepney Green, London, son of Mary and Edward Kemp. He emigrated to Canada and was ordained into the Methodist ministry in Calgary on 31st May 1914. During WW1 he was an ambulance driver in Flanders. His uncle was Charles Frederick Turner, Master of the Methodist Children's Home at Alresford, and I have found a very interesting piece about him with photograph on this site. I have also found a reference to another great-uncle's wife and her parents. My family (surname Taylor) were very much involved with the Primitive Methodist Church in Parchment Street, Winchester. I would be very interested to hear from anyone who may have further information about Edward Kemp or the Taylor family. Thank you.
