Attleborough Primitive Methodist Chapel, Norfolk

This picture of a church with a tower shows that not all PM chapels were simple and without embellishment. Attleborough was the nearest town to the village of Hardingham, the place where my great-grandparents (and then later my great-uncle) farmed in Norfolk. I found this picture on the back of an old post-card dated December 10th 1913, sent by my great-grandmother to her daughter (my grandmother), who was at the time a young mother with two small children, married to a PM Minister stationed in Petersfield, Hampshire – a long way from home!
