There is a brief history of Bethel Primitive Methodist chapel, Cwmaman, built in 1872, on page 81 of Alan Vernon Jones’s “Chapels in the Cynon Valley” (Cynon Valley History Society, 2004), including a 1986 photograph of the chapel.
