Postle, Edward (1838-1905)

Transcription of Obituary In the Christian Messenger

EDWARD POSTLE was born in Burgh, North Walsham Circuit, 1863, and, with the exception of a few weeks, all his life was passed there. He died in Norwich Hospital, January 20th, 1905, where five days before he had passed through an operation. He was a local preacher for about thirty years, and class-leader nineteen years, and society steward.

His wife preceded him across the river two years ago, a bereavement which he never really got over. He was highly respected for his work’s sake.
