Lutterworth Primitive Methodist chapel
A draft of the Lutterworth section of the Victoria County History of Leicestershire says that “By 1846, a small building in Greyhound Lane had been converted into a chapel where a Primitive Methodist congregation met. No Primitive Methodists were mentioned in the meeting house return of 1829 and it is not known when they began to meet. The last appearance of Primitive Methodists in a trade directory was in 1881.”
The 1861 Primitive Methodist magazine contains an account by William Wray of the re-opening of the chapel after a range of repairs. Preachers at the service and tea meeting included Rev. W. Wray, Mr. J. Grant, of Dunton.

Lutterworth in Leicestershire is boardering Northamptonshire.
The Northamptonshire Record Office on-line catalogue we found rather sluggish recently.
At the National Archives a search can be done for Lutterworth Primitive and click on the displayed DRMC or GB0154 or similar ( GB 0154 DRMC ) to view transcript to include Lutterworth Wesleyan and Primitive Methodist Churches/Chapels documents, etc.
