Masham (Silver Street) Primitive Methodist Chapel West Yorkshire
Date of building unknown
Masham is a small market town in Lower Wensleydale. It has a long history and is very much remembered for its annual sheep fairs when up to 80,000 sheep could be sold. These are still held today but on a very much smaller scale. More is known about those than about Primitive Methodism here.
The pictures of the chapel in Silver Street show an unattractive building which appears to be a residence. Nothing is known about it. When was it built? When did it close?
The building at the side of the chapel may have been the manse?
