By Raymond E.O.Ella

Lincolnshire Archive, Lincoln has the following records relating to this chapel:

Ref. MLI97235: This is listed has a Methodist Chapel, Main Road, Tydd St. Mary, but it was a Primitive Methodist Chapel built in 1903. There is a ornate ashlar tablet with 'Primitive Chapel 1903' on a gable. The building in 2010 became The Newfrontier Church.

Next to the former PM Chapel is a school, the plaque stating British School 1889. It is not linked to the former PM Chapel but of the same built, indeed both buildings quite elaborate.  There was an earlier PM Chapel, i.e., PM Chapel built at Tydd Gote, 1843. There are photos of the school and former PM Chapel.

Lincolnshire County Council list the buildings of historical and architectural interest.
