An old postcard

This Primitive Methodist chapel is in the small village of Wrentham, near the Suffolk coast. The picture is on a postcard addressed to my grandfather (Rev Frank Davidson) when he was the minister in Stowmarket in Suffolk (1924-8). The stamp has been removed, so the postmark gives no further indication of date. The message, which appears to come from a member of his congregation reads:
‘Dear Sir, Please accept a view of my own dear old church. It is not very clear but there it is. A hallowed spot to me. E. Piper.’
