  • I lived here during the 1970’s as a teenager. I remember arambling, high ceilinged, large roomed house, which always seemed cold (no central heating) but we always had the fire in the kitchen. Dad kept the garden beautiful, and we had plenty of fruit and veg – home grown. I found out later in life, that many of my friends envied where I lived. As usual, I didn’t appreciate anything about here, now when I pass, I see a very grand, proud house.
