  • The main chapel building appears on a Victorian town plan of Thorney from 1848, before the village was rebuilt, when it is said to have been part of the coal wharf for the village.  It is by the Thorney River, which joins the Nene at the Dog in a Doublet, south of Thorney.  For further village history, or if you would like to tell us about your memories of the Chapel, please see http://www.thorney-museum.org.uk
