Saxon Street is south east of Newmarket. Saxon Street Primitive Methodist chapel was opened in 1884.

The churcdh website tells that it is still open in 2015.  It is good to learn that it has a membership  of 13, a congregation of 14 with between 2-5 young people attending 'Searchers'.  What made me smile was that, on Monday nights, whilst there is Line Dancing in the Hall, there is Keep Fit in the church. There's a sermon in there somewhere.
