Lincoln Croft Street Primitive Methodist society first met in a cottage in 1899. Lincoln Croft Street Primitive Methodist chapel was built in 1904 and served until 1940. After closure it was in commercial use.
On Google Street View in 2009 – 2014 it was painted a very striking red.
