Gainsborough Trinity Street Primitive Methodist chapel dates from 1878 and served until 1968. It seated 900/1000 people.

It amalgamated with the Wesley chapel inĀ 1962, moved to St Stephens in 1968 and was demolished in 1971.

The Sunday School was subsequently used as the Salvation Army Citadel.
