CIRCUIT NOTICE
Isle of Man circuit, December 11, 1837.
Dear Brethren, — Grace and peace be multiplied unto you, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I am happy to inform you, that the work of God prospers among us in this circuit. We have money sufficient to pay all demands. The principal chapels are doing well; congregations are large; open air preaching, and processioning, have been attended with much power and effect in Douglas.
But the best of all is, we have an increase of fifty souls this quarter. To God be all the glory.
I like the Isle of Man very much; we live and labour together in peace. I feel at home among the dear people. Christ is in the midst of us. S. Atterby.
