    My note:

    The congregation were not incompliance of a unification, hence they building a new Chapel/Church in 1932 for the Continuing Primitive Methodists.

    Ref. N CUACS.92.5.00/A.62: Catalogue of Papers and Correspondence of Harold Miller, OBE, medical physicist, a Continuing Primitive Methodist in his early 20s from 1932, born 1909, died 1995. Amongst collection is ‘Growing Up with Primitive Methodism’, Photos, Topic Folder, etc., first in Derbyshire (?). Patrington Primitive Continuing Methodists mentioned.

  • The chapel was built in 1841, rebuilt 1862, (architect Joseph Wright) and closed in 1932.
