Walton PM Chapel

a poem by Nathan Rowntree, early 20th century

By Iain Parsons

This is a copy of a poem written by one of the Primitive Methodist preachers about Walton chapel. Nathan Rowntree was noted for his vernacular poetry in the area and his services were held in high repute. I am told he could hold a congregation with the power of his message.
