  • Ref. EMS 296: Beeston Methodist Church, closed 1971, opened in 1911 has a Primitive Methodist Chapel. Minutes, Accounts, Inventory, c.1929-1932, 1933-1971.

  • I’ve added the return for Beeston to the Census of Places of Public Religious Worship in 1851. The average attendance was 25 at the services held in the morning and evening in alternate weeks. The preaching place was a former cottage, used exclusively for worship.
