Macclesfield, Bourne Primitive Methodist Chapel, Byrons Street

1844-1960

Bourne Primitive Methodist Chapel was built in Byrons Street in 1844, rebuilt in 1905, closed in 1960, and subsequently sold.  The building has since been demolished.

The Statistical Returns of 1940 state that the chapel was a brick building, with pews to seat 170 people. There was a school hall and three other rooms.
