Knutsford Cross Town Primitive Methodist chapel

Knutsford: Return from the Primitive Methodist chapel in the 1851 Census of Places of Public Religious Worship
transcribed by David Tonks

The return from the Knutsford Cross Town Primitive Methodist chapel in the 1851 Census of Places of Public Religious Worship tells us the chapel was opened in 1836 and, although not a separate building, was used exclusively as a place of worship. The average attendance was 30 in the afternoon  and 40 in the evenings ; the morning and afternoon Sunday school  sessions each had 16 scholars.

I cannot find the chapel on Nineteenth Century Ordnance Survey maps. Where was the chapel and what happened to it?
