In 2022 Tudhoe Primitive Methodist chapel is still witnessing as Tudhoe Methodist church.
The Primitive Methodist chapel was opened in 1870 by the miners of Tudhoe Colliery. Behind the chapel is a schoolroom. . It cost of £664. The site and. much of the stone for the building were contributed by the owners of the Weardale Iron and Coal Company. Ten years after it was built, the chapel was enlarged. The Weardale Iron and Coal Company also gave a site to the Wesleyans for a chapel to seat 350 and built at a cost
of £500.
