  • This chapel was opened in 1845, as detailed on the commemorative stone.
It was also known as Brailsford Central Methodist Church, to distinguish it from the Brailsford (former Wesleyan) Methodist Chapel which was located on the outskirts of the village- which closed in 1967.

  • Brailsford Methodist Church is currently in the Ashbourne Circuit, and the Superintendent minister, Rev Tim Morris, has kindly let us know that the third picture down is actually of the inside of Mill Dale Chapel.
