Langley Common Primitive Methodist chapel, Poles Road, Langley Common, Kirk Langley. N.B. On modern sat. navs. the road sometimes comes up as Pole’s Rd! It is a small road to the right leaving Kirk Langley for Mickleover, immediately after the Long Lane junction.

1851 census reported a chapel built in 1817 and seating 70. This appears to have been rebuilt 1868, and closed for worship in 1964.

It is understood that the building has been demolished. Poles Road is a private road and has a mixture of established cottage terraces and modern large detached houses. I have not been able to determine the exact location of the chapel- any information welcomed.
