Bristol Salisbury Street Primitive Methodist chapel

The 1883 Primitive Methodist magazine contains an account of the laying of the memorial stones for a new Primitive Methodist mission chapel in Salisbury Street, Bristol Third Station. The area had been missioned three years previously and interest had steadily grown so that it became necessary to find a better base than the house they had been using.

Where was the chapel?  The 1880 Ordnance Survey map shows Salisbury Street in St Georges. I only has houses on its eastern side.  A chapel appears on Ordnance Survey maps at the northern end of Salisbury Street, St Georges  but not until between 1902 and 1913, over 20 years later.
