  • North Cerney Methodist Church Closure

Due to regular flooding of the church hall coupled with increasing repair costs, the building of North Cerney Methodist Church closes as a place of worship, after the evening service on Sunday 1st February 2015 at 6 pm.

Opened in 1881 in the Primitive Methodist tradition, today around twelve people regularly attend the church. After closure, they will meet monthly as a House Group of Bethesda Methodist Church, Cheltenham. Please hold them all in your prayers throughout this period of transition and give thanks for all the years of service and witness from the people called Methodist in North Cerney. (From the Bethesda Methodist Church noticesheet.)
