Jane Hall, Class Leader, completed a return to the 1851 Census of Public Places of Religious Worship on behalf of Etchilhampton Primitive Methodist society.
The society had met for worship for two months previously in the house of John Hall, farmer’s labourer. Was he related to Jane? 35 people attended the evening service.
