Fleetwood Mount Road Primitive Methodist chapel

Mount Road Fleetwood FY7 6RE

Fleetwood Mount Road PM chapel

The building was originally designed in 1908 as a Sunday school, but it cost too much money. As a result, the society decided to close its previous building in West Street  and meet in the new school. The previous building was sold in 1912 and became a cinema and pool hall.  The sale of the old Church almost wiped out the large debt incurred in building the Sunday School.

In 2019 it is Emmanuel Church.

  • A lovely Chapel attended by my grandparents & many other Leadbetter & Wright family members. I was in the Band of Hope Queen’s retinue twice. Band of Hope very big in Lancashire.
