Manchester Lodge Street Primitive Methodist chapel
Lodge Street, Queen’s Road.
The 1880 Primitive Methodist magazine tells us that memorial stones had been laid for a new Primitive Methodist school-chapel in the Manchester First circuit, at Lodge Street, Queen’s Road.
The area around Lodge Street has been completely redeveloped in the latter half of the Twentieth Century. I can’t actually find the chapel location on former Ordnance Survey maps, unless it was the mission hall halfway along Lodge Street. There was a large United Methodist chapel at the junction of Queen’s Road and Lodge Street.
