Cosby Primitive Methodist Chapel

Cosby Methodist Church was formerly the Primitive Methodist Chapel, which opened in October 1922. It replaced an earlier chapel built in 1886.

It has an active congregation and remains open for worship.

  • The 1886 Primitive Methodist magazine (page 572) contains a note recording the laying of the foundation stones for this chapel. It was missioned by the Leicester Second circuit a year previously.
