The first Gringley Primitive Methodist chapel dates from 1838. It was replaced in 1900 by a second chapel and after closure became a house.

  • I live in Gringley on the Hill and I’m currently researching some of the buildings which has led me to discover that apparently the first chapel was on the High Street in the village. It was built in 1800.

    A mention that the second PM Chapel was built in 1888 and the other then used has a School Room.
