Heckington Fen Primitive Methodist chapel dates from 1855 and was rebuilt in 1875.
It closed in 1970 and became a house and possible store by the time of Keith Guyler’s photograph.

The former chapel was destroyed by fire in 1855; a malfunctioning boiler apparently. An adjoining cottage also burnt down – both buildings were thatched – from Stamford Mercury 12 Jan 1855. Ambler says the old chapel was a thatched barn.
