Old Bolingbroke is west of Spilsby. Old Bolingbroke Primitive Methodist chapel dates from 1859. Previously the society had rented premises.

Keith Guyler’s notes say that it closed in 1870. At the time of his photograph in 1993 it was a garage and a store for the adjacent house.

Can anyone locate it more precisely?

I can locate it, as we used to live next door to it! It’s on Chapel Lane, Old Bolingbroke, opposite the telephone box and diagonally opposite the current Wesleyan chapel. During the 1960s/70s/80s the house next to it in the picture was lived in by an Ivy Chester, who used the old chapel for storage. If you want to search for it on maps, Google Street View etc, the postcode is PE23 4ES.
