  • An article in the Christian Messenger 1908 on the Wymondham Circuit identifies the chapel in Rachel’s picture as Forncett St Peter.

  • The chapel at Forncett St. Mary is evidently a different one from the one in the picture I have, which clearly says ‘Primitive Methodist Church, Forncett’ underneath. From the map I can see that the village of Forncett has three areas of housing: Forncett St. Mary, Forncett St. Peter and Forncett End. I guess that the picture that I have is of Forncett End, since it appears a bit isolated, and in fact the account of Forncett St. Mary on the village website says that when that chapel closed the congregation transferred to Forncett End.
