Mossend Primitive Methodist Chapel
near Motherwell
Mossend was in the Motherwell Circuit. About two and a half miles from Motherwell, it also had extensive ironworks.
The church was built in 1872, but there was a Primitive Society in Mossend by 1849.
In 1849 they worshipped in the home of Mrs Mair and Mrs Price. (see more attached below).
