NEW PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHAPEL [at Stanton Long]
The opening services of this chapel have been duly held here during the past few weeks, and have been well attended. The chapel is built upon land given by Mr. B. Cocks, of Holdgate, the memorial stones being laid on the 20th of May last. About £50 had been received for the “trust fund”. The chapel was built by Mr. C. Weale, of Brosely granite brick, the architect being Mr. Hine, of Ludlow. The interior is conveniently fitted. Miss Evans kindly presented the trustees with a new pulpit cushion.”
