Bridgwater (Bridgewater) Primitive Methodist chapel

His successful missioning of Glastonbury in 1845 led to Mr Powell being invited to Bridgwater (Bridsgewater in the Primitive Methodist magazine account)  by Messrs Wyburn and Lusty. The first service was held in Mrs Mansfield’s cottage and then a large room (40′ x 20′)  was rented for both congregation and school.
