The return from the Primitive Methodist chapel at Buckland to the 1851 Census of Places of Public Religious worship was completed by the minister, Joseph Preston, of Church Street, Frome.
He tells us that the chapel, built before 1800, held 90 people. On Census Sunday there were 38 people at the afternoon service and 50 at the evening one.
Where was the chapel and what happened to it? Was Buckland in the Frome District Buckland Dinham?
