Baddingham (Badingham) Primitive Methodist chapel
In the Primitive Methodist magazine of 1837, W Pentney tells us about the opening of six Primitive Methodist chapels and one re-opening in the year following September 1835 in the Wangford circuit.
The opening services for Baddingham Primitive Methodist chapel started on 29th September 1836. Mr J Bennett, Mr J Lear and Mr W Wainwright were the opening preachers.
Primitive Methodists had preached in Baddingham for six years before this and then Mr Heffer let the society have the land. They built “a neat chapel with aslated roof” which measured 19′(w) x 26′(l)
