The Primitive Methodist magazine of October 1894 contains an account of the laying of foundation stones for a new chapel and school at Ebbw Vale in the Brynmawr station. The new chapel would accommodate 500 worshippers and the school 350 scholars.
Building was expected to cost £1,800, a large sum “considering the depressed condition of trade in West Monmouthshire and adjacent districts in Wales”
Where was the chapel and what happened to it?
