The 1851 Census of Places of Public Religious Worship contains a report for Kington Langley Primitive Methodist chapel..  It was completed by Charles Tucker, Trustee and Chapel Steward.

He reports that the chapel was erected around 1844, had 72 let seats and 33 free ones.  60 people attended both afternoon and evening services.
