  • On the 1880 OS map it is marked as Methodist Chapel (Primitive) immediately south of the Crown Inn at the junction of High Street and Winchester Street (The postcode for the Crown Inn is SP119PZ)
    The building is still there on the 1900 map but not marked as a chapel. On the 1924 map the building
    has gone.
    According to information from The Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre the chapel was built in 1844 and closed sometime between 1885 and 1889
