Footman, Mary (1809-1837)

Died in Poole circuit, May 28, 1837, Mary Footman, in the 28 year of her age.  She was convinced of sin when the P. Methodists visited the place, and she and her husband joined the society, and she continued to the day of her death.

Being of a nervous habit, she early in the spring of 1837, was visited with a rapid decline.  A few weeks previous to her death she had much joy in the Lord.  Her complaint continuing caused a degree of delirium, but previous to her death her senses were restored, and her end was peace.
