I have written the biography of my grandfather—James Pratt (1880-1968) He was a railway signalman for over 40 years and a Methodist preacher for over 70 years. It used to be said `once a railwayman, always a railwayman` and whilst this was true of my grandfather, it was also true of him `once a Primitive Methodist, always a Primitive Methodist`.
