Abey, John (1793-1866)

John preached at the opening of the first Primitive Methodist Chapel in St Sepulchre St, Scarborough, on 13 May 1821.

Family

John was baptised on 29 July 1793 at Barnetby le Wold, Lincolnshire. His parents were William, a farmer, and Isabel.

John married Martha Maling (abt1785-1839) on 2 September 1824 at Scarborough, Yorkshire.

John died on 13 December 1866 at Snainton, Yorkshire.
