Adcock, Albert Oswald (1888-1961)

Family

Albert was born on 24 September 1888 at Great Ryburgh, Norfolk, to parents James, a platelayer, and Maria.

In 1911 Albert was working as a shop assistant. He was called up to the RAMC on 12 September 1918 and consequently expelled as a minister on 11 October 1918. He was discharged from the army on 2 April 1920.

Albert married Gertrude Maud Watts (1889-1974) on 5 May 1919 in the Forhoe Registration District, Norfolk.

In 1939 Albert was a painting inspector and surveyor. He died on 27 February 1961 at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
